Underwater Creatures - Mobile Game Characters (Unity | Spine 2D)

Project Role & Responsibilities

This project is part of an original mobile game currently in development for iOS, created by a two-person team.
I was responsible for the full character production and technical art pipeline, from initial concept to production-ready real-time assets, including:

• Character concept design and visual development
• Final illustration and production preparation in Photoshop
• Asset separation, optimization, and animation-ready setup
• Rigging and animation using Spine 2D
• Export pipeline setup and Unity asset configuration (prefab setup, animation states, initial runtime configuration)
• Development of custom animation control scripts for animation variation
• Shader setup and real-time visual polish
• Setup of particle effects and rendering adjustments for mobile

Gameplay systems, runtime behavior logic, spawning systems, and overall game architecture were implemented by the Unity developer on the project.
The objective was to create production-ready, animation-efficient characters optimized for mobile performance while maintaining high visual quality and expressive deformation.

The game is currently in active development.
